Five steps, the same everywhere
Every Uniform Electric licensee follows the same process, so you know what happens next before the electrician knocks.
Tell us what you're seeing
Call 856-UNIFORM. We ask what happened, where, and whether there's heat, smell or sparking, so we can tell you what to do right now and send the right electrician.
Diagnosis on site
Your electrician arrives in uniform, tests the circuit, device or equipment, and shows you what they found, in plain language.
Options in writing
You get a written estimate with the repair or upgrade options, including whether a permit and inspection are required. Work starts only after you approve it.
Repair, test and inspect
The work is done to code and tested. Permitted work is scheduled for inspection with the city or county.
Documented and guaranteed
You receive a written job summary, with photos where offered, and the Uniform workmanship guarantee.
Guarantees, not adjectives
Plenty of electricians say "trusted" and "reliable." These are the commitments every company licensed under the Uniform Electric name has to meet.
Guaranteed background checks
Every electrician who enters your home has passed a criminal background check and identity verification. If they haven't been checked, they can't wear the uniform.
Licensed, permitted, inspected
Each local Uniform Electric company is qualified by a Florida-licensed electrical contractor, carries insurance, and pulls the permit when the work requires one.
Quality guarantee
You approve a written estimate before work starts. If our workmanship isn't right, we come back and make it right. Terms are written on every estimate.
Every job ends in writing
When the work is done you get a written summary: what we found, what you approved, what we did, how we tested it, the permit number when there is one, and the guarantee that applies.
- Price and scope approved before work starts
- Permit and inspection handled by the licensed contractor
- Work tested before the electrician leaves
- Photos of the problem and the repair where offered
- One phone number for follow-up questions
